Caesarea Arts Caesarea Arts Ltd is a multi-faceted studio run by husband and wife team Alice & Brian Bergner, who design and craft unique hand made jewelry, and manufacture stone and glass Judaica and giftware as well as accessories for the home environment. The location of our studio in Caesarea, Israel, a seafront township built around important archeological sites that date back to ancient times, is an undoubted inspiration for our work. The port and ruins are still being dug today and are a source of some of the ancient glass to be found in some of our designs. Each shard is chosen for its natural opalescent patina and shape and becomes the center piece for a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry, objet d’art or Judaic ritual

" Living as we do on the shore of the Mediterranean, the quality of our life is determined to a great extent by the sea and all it represents. My family spends as much time as possible combing its beaches, and we are lucky enough to have a bird's eye view of it from every window of our home, including our studio. Willingly or not, our moods and inspiration are in tandem with the mood of the sea. Our work, inevitably organic, is a homage of sorts, a salute to its life and debris"
